St. Petersburg is located on the west coast of Florida, neighbors with Tampa and Clearwater. There are so many opportunities for bending the rod in the area: from Tampa Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. is also an option. Basically, the entire area is filled with fantastic fisheries vying for our attention. Inshore species include redfish, snook, Spanish mackerel, and mangrove snapper this time of year. Snook are certainly around as well, although they can become a bit sluggish in cooler water. If you’re in the St. Petersburg area, consider to get out on the water. The perfect St. Petersburg fishing charter is waiting for your group!
Costa Rica is a sport fishing paradise, and Jacó is at the heart of it all. Anglers fishing closer to the shore will likely be targeting the elusive Roosterfish. This bucket list fish puts up an incredible fight, and has an exotic appearance with spikes streaming off of its dorsal fin. They are found exclusively in warm, Eastern pacific waters, making Costa Rica a prime destination for targeting this species. Although the roosterfish certainly creates an appealing angling opportunity, the real Costa Rican draw for anglers is the billfishery.
White, black, striped, and blue marlin all swim off of the Costa Rican coast, and the fishing in November is hot. is located on the west coast of the country, about 100 kilometers west of Costa Rica’s capital, San José (that’s just over 60 miles, about a 90-minute drive around the mountains). If your travels take you to Costa Rica this fall season, we highly recommend a Pacific Ocean fishing adventure. Departing from Jacó, Playa Herradura, or Quepos are great options.
Charleston is one of our favorite fisheries on the entire eastern seaboard. The redfish population is simply unbelievable during the fall season. Charleston Harbor is a very productive fishery throughout the year and has some of the best views of the city. While redfish are a popular fall species, trout also show up in good numbers and sizes. It’s a day of bent rods with as many as 20 or 30 catches in just one outing. If you’re going to be in the area as well, be sure to book a Charleston fishing charter.
Galveston is just one of the Lone Star state’s prime fishing spots. Redfish, trout, and flounder all show up in good sizes and numbers during the fall months, so Thanksgiving really is a great time to schedule your trip. You can’t go wrong with a Galveston fishing trip, no matter what time of year you visit!
FishAnywhere is headquartered in Orlando, and members of our team are certainly eager to wet a line. The numerous lakes around Central Florida can keep us busy when we’re not working. While theme parks and beaches call to many of our tourists, and Kissimmee are known to locals as top bass producers. And the fall season is a great time to schedule an Orlando fishing trip. The weather isn’t too hot, which also helps to keep the bugs away. Although largemouth bass are spawning in the Spring months, there is still plenty of action during the Fall as well. If you’re in the area, this is a great time to reserve your Orlando fishing trip.
