Captain Cory Sparks will be behind the helm as you journey off in search of the great fish in the Jacksonville, FL area. Capt. Cory holds a USCG license and has fished the area for over 12 years. His runs fishing charters because he loves sharing his passion for fishing with others. As a local elementary math and science teacher, teaching comes naturally for Capt. Cory and nothing gives him greater joy than teaching others the wonderful sport of fishing.
When you start your trip with Capt. Cory, you will be doing so out of Ponte Vedra Beach but can end up exploring some of the surrounding areas including Jacksonville Beach, Sawgrass, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, and many other locations along the northeast coast of Florida.
Your fishing adventure starts the moment to enter Capt. Cory’s stunning 18’ flats boat that can sit up to 3 anglers comfortably and have them fish at the same time. The vessel is rigged with a 140 HP Suzuki engine and has everything you need for a productive fishing day. Capt. There is a live bait well on board, as well as two iceboxes. In the shallow waters, you will use the Motorguide trolling motor to sneak up on spooky fish.
We offer 2, 4, and 6-hour inshore fishing charters that include rods, reels, tackle, lures, bait, and a fishing license. Some of the techniques we use to fish include bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, light tackle, and drift fishing. Capt. Cory will be happy to clean all of your catches after the trip as well.
The waters in the local area are teeming with different species and Capt. Cory will know exactly how to get them to bite. Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Sheepshead, and Spotted Seatrout are at the top of your to-catch list, but there are so many that you can hook along the way.
