Capt. Chris Fanelli will be piloting the boat as you enjoy your fishing charter adventure. Capt. Chris grew up fishing the freshwater lakes of New York. He developed a passion for fishing and being outdoors at a very early age. He brought that passion to Southwest Florida, where he started his career as a fishing charter captain so he could show others just how exciting Southwest Florida fishing can be. Capt. Chris has over 20 years of experience fishing in Punta Gorda and the surrounding areas. He loves meeting new people and strives to make sure each one of his clients has the time of their lives out on the water with him.
Your outdoor fishing excursion with Capt. Chris will begin in Placida, Florida and could go on to explore the nearby fishing hotspots of Boca Grande, Cape Haze, Cayo Costa, Bokeelia, Manasota Key, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, and many other locations in the Gasparilla sound and Charlotte Harbor.
Capt. Chris has a fabulous 24ft Lake & Bay boat that makes Boca Grande fishing charters a dream come true. Her versatility allows for fishing anywhere from the Gulf of Mexico to the shallow flats and anything in between. She sports a 250hp Yamaha engine that will power her to and from Florida fishing spots in a very timely manner. On deck, you will find a GPS, fishfinder, livewell, power poles, Minn Kota iPilot trolling motor, snorkeling gear, and spearfishing equipment. She is spacious enough for up to 4 anglers to enjoy fishing.
We offer full and half day fishing trips that cover the inshore and nearshore waters of Southwest Florida. Special trips that specifically target Tarpon or Sharks are available at 4 and 8-hour lengths. You will have access to all the fishing gear, lures, and bait needed for a productive day of Punta Gorda fishing. A fishing license and fish cleaning service will also be provided on each trip at no additional charge.
The fishing grounds of Southwest Florida are teeming with life and Capt. Chris will put you right where the fish are biting. Some of the species we love to target on our trips include Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Cobia, Tripletail, Trout, Sharks, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Flounder.
