You decide how far you want to go, depending on what you want to catch. Stay inshore for Redfish, Flounder, and Black Drum; go nearshore for Cobia and Mackerel, or head out offshore for Tuna and Mahi Mahi. Each species is great in their own way, you just need to find out what feels best for you.
