2 Hour Trip – Noon Shark
We had a great day on the water with Kurt and crew. Point of trip was really just to get my 7yo on the water, I wasn’t expecting much given the time of day, season, tides etc. Kurt however went out of his way to get us as many chances at fish as possible, even staying out well beyond our booked time, which allowed us to land a good sized bonnet head shark. Landing a 20 lb shark on light tackle was amazing. Kurt showed great respect and appreciation towards the species as well. I’ve been coming to HHI for 30 years, this is first time chartering a boat. Will be booking with Kurt again.

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM)
My wife booked this charter for my birthday. The moment I stepped on the boat I knew I was going to have a great time. I was not disappointed. While I didn’t catch any keepers, I had a fun landing a few black sea bass. Kurt is an awesome captain and guide. He is definitely focused on his clients having a great time. Spending my morning hunting for the fish with him was like being with an old friend. I will definitely book another trip the next time I’m in Hilton Head.

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM)
For starters, we booked this trip to Hilton Head last minute. At 9PM we requested a 4 hour fishing trip the next day and it was confirmed and booked within 5 minutes. We met Captain Kurt and his brother Kevin at the boat launch and immediately felt like we were meeting friends or family for a fishing trip. We took off right away to find some fish. They had told us the bite had not quite picked up yet and we had already knew we had less than favorable fishing conditions. The boat they use handles rough water well, as the wind was blowing 20+ mph and the tides were coming in. We cruised right across the chop and began fishing. We didn’t catch and keepers but it was still a blast catching fish and even a stingray! No matter your skill level, fishing experience, or knowledge, choosing this charter is the way to go. These guys care more about making sure you get some fish in the boat than anything else. We even went way past the allotted 4 hours attempting to get some keepers. Another great thing is Kurt takes tons of pictures and send them to your phone so you have memories to keep. This trip is great for kids, adults, and elderly. I will never go with different charter in Hilton Head.
