Military and first responders
When I found out I was coming back to the Florida keys area I knew I had to book another trip with captain DJ. We started off the trip with two nice reds in the very beginning of the trip. After catching a few shorts and a keeper we moved to another spot. The next spot would provide snook, sheepshead, drum, and another red. After wearing them out and throwing several back we changed spots looking for tarpon. Capt. DJ was honest saying we might not get one, but he would try his best. At the next spot I landed the tarpon I had been after. If you are looking for a great guide who is personable and knowledgeable, Capt. DJ is your guy. I don’t think we could have done any better even if we were fishing at an aquarium! Already looking to come back in a few months.

Half Day Trip (AM)
DJ was fantastic! He took my 86 yr. old mother, my 12 year old son, and me out for a half day. He worked with my 12 year son who loves to fish - gave him great tips and was very patient. We caught too many fish to count - red snapper, spotted trout, shark, and a few other species. We have never caught this many fish!! Unbelievable! We can usually count the number of fish we catch on 2 hands. We took home a nice catch of trout, red snapper, and shark - all delicious! I absolutely recommend DJ to take you out for a fantastic day of fishing! Thanks again DJ!!

I cannot say enough great things about Capt DJ! He got us in on literally the shortest notice ever and made the fishing experience one to remember. He was so great with all of us especially our 11 yr old son. He was so patient and took the time to explain each species of fish our son caught and how the rod was set up. Wonderful experience all the way around. Would recommend to anyone especially if you have children he’s definitely the Capt you want!
