Fishing Report
October 04, 2019
Mullet are still thick here in the Indian River Lagoon. Snook are stacked up in the Fort Pierce inlet preying on mullet schools that pass by in the current. Dropping mullet to the bottom in roughly 25-40 foot and drifting over ledges and structure result in quality fish. Friday we made several drifts in the afternoon. The first three drifts resulted in three slot sized fish. Two of which joined us for dinner! Lots of redfish are being caught on shallow flats as well as in the inlet. Tripletail should start showing up with the cooler weather. Fishing has been good, and is expected to only get better.
