The charter is operated by Captain Kyle Wallace, who is a 5th generation native Floridian. He was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and has grown up fishing the waters of Tampa Bay. By 15 years of age, Capt. Kyle was already competing in fishing tournaments with men twice his age.
You and Capt. Kyle will begin your fishing excursion in St. Petersburg, but will cover other fine areas like Tampa, Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Largo, Sun City, Palmetto, Bradenton, St. Pete Beach, and many other fishing grounds in the Tampa Bay area.
You will fish aboard his 20-foot Privateer saltwater fishing boat originally built in 1995 and restored in 2016. The boat is powered by a 90 HP Yamaha 4 Stroke engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. This makes it fast and secure on the water. The vessel is fully equipped with safety features like life jackets and a CPR-trained crew, and the latest fish finding technology.
Beach2Bay Charters will provide the necessary fishing gear including rods, reels, tackle, bait, a fishing license, drinks and fish processing at the end. All you need to bring is positive energy and get ready for lots of action. Captain Kyle will work hard to make sure you catch fish and that you have fun doing it as well.
We practice a number of different fishing techniques including bottom fishing, bow fishing, drift fishing, deep sea fishing, fly fishing, handlining, spinning, and trolling. Just let us know which one you prefer, and we will gladly accommodate you.
Captain Kyle has a passion for inshore fishing, specializing in finding Red Fish, Snook, Trout and Tarpon. He loves the fight of a Tarpon and feels great pride when his clients can bring in “The Big One”. He can also take you nearshore fishing for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, and more.
