Lake Sam Rayburn is full of fishing opportunities year-round and a trip with Big Dawg Outfitters will have you taking full advantage of these opportunities!

Your fishing adventure with us begins once you step foot onto the brand new 24ft Skeeter center console boat. She can comfortably carry 6 anglers plus the crew. The design allows all anglers to fish at the same time, without knocking gear over. There’s a wireless trolling motor on board to help you sneak up on those anxious fish.

We offer full day trips that can go up to 8 hours on the water. You’re free to bring your own gear if you prefer but your captain will provide you with everything you need. We recommend bringing sun protective clothing, sun glasses, and an eager attitude!

We will target different species depending on the time of year your trip with us takes place. February-September, you can expect to see a Catfish on your hook as your reeling it in. The months of April-August and January will provide plenty of Crappie fishing. We target White Bass from February through September. Largemouth Bass swim this area year-round, so don’t be surprised to catch one of those prized species on any of our trips.
