Captain Rodney Rogers will be leading the way on your amazing fishing journey. A Florida native, Capt. Rodney has over 30 years of experience running charters and fishing the area. Rodney is a passionate guide, full of enthusiasm and dedication to share his knowledge of catching large saltwater fish.
Your fishing charter trip with Capt. Rodney will start in Homosassa and can go on to explore the fishing grounds around Crystal River, Pine Island, Bayport, Weeki Wachee Gardens, Homosassa Bay, Ozello, and many other wonderful locations on the central west coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.
Fishing will be done aboard Capt. Rodney’s 28ft center console. She is run on twin 150hp Honda engines that can take her cruising up to 40 knots. This vessel can fit up to 5 guests and have plenty of room to fish. This boat comes equipped with a GPS, a VHF radio, fishfinder, and radar. The vessel is fitted with a live bait tank and a cooler to make sure the catch is fresh during the day.
We offer 4 and 8-hour inshore and offshore excursions. All of our trips include rods, reels, tackle, lures, bait, and a fishing license. We practice an array of fishing techniques including bottom fishing, bow fishing, deep sea fishing, drift fishing, Flounder gigging, light tackle fishing, spearfishing, spinning, and trolling.
On our inshore fishing trips, you can expect to see the likes of Sheepshead, Trout, Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Tripletail, Mangrove snapper, and many more. Offshore trips target Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Grouper, Permit, Amberjack, and Cobia.
