Half Day Trip
Captain Tyler was an amazing wealth of information! We wanted an eco, educational and recreational experience and we learned so much about the ecology, history and present day issues, good and bad, regarding the Goodland/Marco Island/ Ten Thousand Islands/Everglades area of southwest Florida. He knows the area like the back of his hand and just where to go to see the dolphins and have them swim and play right alongside the boat. He is personable, entertaining and a thoroughly delightful young man. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone looking for a fun few hours on the water.

Full Day Trip
We went out with Captain Tyler with Born and raised charters out of Goodland. He took my dad and I out on the back waters, where it looked like a maze of mangroves. We got to experience dolphins jumping along with our wake, which made the trip twice as good. Can’t forget the best part, we didn’t know much about setting up a pole so he helped us out with that and put us in the right spot. After he helped us we were hooking them on faster than we thought! He knows the back water inside and out! I would highly recommend Captain Tyler with Born and Raise charter! He will put you on fish! AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

Captain Tyler provided an exceptional service. Knowing the bite was very minimal, Tyler kept us on the move doing everything he could to get us on some fish. Through all of this, his knowledge of the area as well as the jigging sequence needed to land fish in a tough bite became very evident. As he taught us, he landed multiple fish without even having a bait on the hook, impressive. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to give him a shot if you’re looking for a chance to get on some fish.
