The ones that don’t want to hold the rod, they can hold the camera – the trip will take you to a beautiful sightseeing area as well.
You will be comfortable riding along in the captain’s 50ft Buddy Davis custom Carolina sportfish. The boat accommodates up to six guests and everybody can fish at the same time if you’re trolling. When bottom fishing, only four lines can be out at the same time, so you’ll need to take turns.
Depending on which option you are choosing to book, the targeted species change. If you’re looking to fish nearshore or offshore, you can target pelagic fish like King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Sailfish or do some bottom dropping for Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, and other bottom dwellers.
If inshore or nearshore would be more manageable for you and your group, targeted species would include Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, King Mackerel, and in certain times of the year Cobia.

Full Day – Nearshore/Offshore
Captain Ashley and Mate Grayson were fantastic to fish with on our trip May 1. Ashley’s concern for our safety and desire for a good experience played out well as we did some near shore fishing while waiting for seas to subside. Top notch equipment and knowledge of where to go kept is in fish all day, at every drop with no equipment issues. Grayson was a champ helping us out with fish, keeping us in bait and then cleaning a box full of fish at the end of the day. I highly recommend Breakwater Charters and can’t wait to fish with Captain Ashley Forest again!

Full Day – Bluewater Gulf Stream
We had a exceptional caught 5 wahoo, 4 Barracuda, 1 sailfish and 1 sailfish spit the hook. The Capt and Mate were both professional, knowledgeable and fun we could not have had a better day or expect it to be any better. I will give you a heads up if you want to go fishing on this boat with this team you better be ready to have fun and I mean fun.

Half Day Trip (AM)
Super personable captain and mate for a young adult group of people to get along with. Really felt like they were trying to give us an opportunity to reel in some fish. If you are a fishing savvy person, I recommend the 3/4 day trip just to get further offshore and a chance at some better fish.
