Captain Skeet Warren welcomes you aboard his newly restored 42’ Bertram. Powered by twin 635hp Cummins engines, you’ll cruise to the fishing grounds off the coast of Playa Flamingo in no time! Charter boat Bushwacker Sportfishing is fully outfitted with all of the gear you’ll need for a successful Costa Rican fishing trip. Our outriggers will allow us to troll multiple rods at once, so get ready for a double Marlin hook up! She’s also equipped with top of the line electronics, including a GPS, fish finder, and radar system. On these trips, you’ll likely catch: Bonito, Amberjack, Wahoo, Red Snapper, Roosterfish, and many more. For those of you looking to take full advantage of Playa Flamingo’s world class fishery, Captain Skeet highly recommends his full day offshore charter. This allows time to cruise up to 25 miles off the coast where you’ll be able to catch multiple billfish throughout the day! On these trips, you can expect to catch Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, and more!
Playa Flamingo is one of Costa Rica’s most productive fisheries, with multiple species found on countless angler’s bucket list being caught 12 months out of the year. Marlin are one of the species that fall into this category. With Blue Marlin being the most abundant, these pelagic predators are caught most frequently from November-March. Sailfish is another top ticket for many anglers, and again, they’re caught 12 months out of the year, with May-August being the hottest months.

Weather cancellations are at your Captain’s discretion, your safety is their number one priority! You will receive a refund for any weather cancellation, or you can choose to reschedule your trip for a different date.

Inshore fishing trips targets Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, small Tuna, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Mackerel and Bonito.
The trip price includes rods, reels, tackle and bait. We promote "tag & release" in Costa Rica and it's also the law. All billfish and roosterfish must be released.
On our half day trip we will provide fresh fruit, snacks, lunches and half a case of beer, sodas and water.
