As a native of SW Florida Captain Bill Walker has been fishing these waters his entire life. He has been a professional fishing guide in the Ft. Myers, Sanibel & Captiva Islands area for over 20 years and fished many tournaments. He looks forward to sharing his knowledge and expertise with anglers of all ages and skill levels.

Captain Bill’s goal is to be versatile enough to handle any fishing situation. He prides himself on being patient and courteous with anglers of all skill levels. Whether your group of three is searching for the subtle roll of a Tarpon, or live baiting the flats for a multitude of species such as Redfish and Sheepshead, Captain Bill will work hard to make your SW Florida fishing charter a success!

Captain Bill offers half day and full day fishing charters – launching from the Punta Rassa boat ramp, which is minutes from Sanibel, Captiva, and Ft. Myers Beach. Other departure sites can be arranged; details will be arranged with Captain Bill once the trip is booked.

As a professional fishing charter captain in Fort Myers, Captain Bill prides himself on safety, professionalism, and always being prepared. He consistently goes the extra mile to give all customers the fishing trip of a lifetime!

Fishing charters are full-service and include everything you’ll need for a great day of fishing: bait, tackle, fishing license, and ice. You’ll want to bring any snacks or drinks while you are fishing. To ensure a great day on the water, Captain Bill recommends you also bring a hat, polarized sunglasses, non-marking shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellant. Captain Bill is able to accommodate three anglers.

The prime season for Tarpon is mid-April through June. Snook and Redfish are available year-round. Let Captain Bill guide you on a great day of fishing in Ft. Myers!

Amazing Day
We had an amazing day out on the water with Captain Bill. Very knowledgeable and hard working captain. We really wanted to catch a Tarpon, but Bill told us is was still very early in the season. We spent the first 3 hours of the trip where a few were spotted with two other boats. We hooked a large (100+ lb) tarpon but unfortunately the line snapped. The other two boats each brought in one large tarpon each, so Bill knew where to go! The remainder of the day we spent catching tons of nice sized Snook! The tide slacked for the last hour of our trip but Bill volunteered to stay out an extra hour and a half because the bite had picked up the day earlier at that time, and it sure did again on our trip! Through and through Bill used his 20+ years as a captain in the area and his hard work to put us on fish consistently, which is everything you could ask for! I would highly recommend!

Knowledgeable Captain
Very awesome experience, Captain Bill was amazing. He called or texted us a couple times before our booked trip to make sure we knew where to be and what to bring if anything. Started the morning off with hunting for triple tail. He taught us what to look for and exactly how to cast to get the tripletail’s attention. After catching to big tripletails which we ate for dinner :) then went after some Snook and Jack. Captain Bill was very knowledgeable in everything fishing, we will be definitely using him again in the future.

Fun day on the water
We had so much fun with Captain Bill! He definitely primed the water so that fish were there to be caught. He took care of everything, and my teenage kids pulled in one fish after another! We are so glad that we chose this charter! Thanks Captain Bill!
