Capt. Conch is a 40 foot fishing machine built in Key West for Key West fishing. Our experienced crew will customize your trip to maximize your pleasure. Come on down to beautiful Key West and fish the waters that Hemingway made famous. Our crews are very experienced in all types of Keys fishing. So make your plans to join us and create your own fishing adventure. At the helm of this beautiful 40 ft vessel is Captain Gil Scott; an experienced and professional Captain who is ready to work hard for your fishing trip. The fishing boat is powered by 350HP Caterpillar engine, and equipped with top GPS and Fishfinder technology. Downriggers and outriggers have been added to help your fishing experience; and there’s a large livewell as well. Fighting chairs on board are great for anglers fighting the monster fish. We also have a large salon with toilet available if needed. Your group of six can fish for either four hours or six hours – both private and shared trips available on Capt. Conch Charters. Private trips are single family/group offerings (you’ll be the only group on board); shared trips have six passengers who are sharing the cost of the trip. You never know, you may find your future fishing buddy on a shared trip! (These are also good for single or smaller groups looking to reduce the cost of a day at sea). Included in your trip price is your fishing license, rods, reels, tackle, and bait. We’ll also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day. Water is complimentary when you’re aboard Capt. Conch; you’ll also want to bring any snacks for the day. We recommend you also pack some sunblock, wear a hat and polarized sunglasses, and of course bring your camera. While fishing aboard Capt. Conch Charters we’ll target the many pelagic fish of the Florida Keys. This includes the ever popular Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Grouper, Snapper, and Tuna to name a few. Most species are available year-round, but season and weather will also determine what we’re catching. Be sure to ask Captain Gil before embarking on your adventure for what to expect.
