The Reef Runner is the fourth addition to the Capt. Conch Fleet. It is a 35 foot crusader built in Key West for Key West. Our Crew was also built in Key West as our mate is a native guide from a long line of fishermen. We specialize in offshore fishing though we are versatile in all ways to catch fish in Key West. Reef Runner is captained by Gil Scott, an experienced and professional Captain who works hard for each and every customer. He pilots the 35 foot fishing machine, equipped with top navigational equipment and powered by 325HP Caterpillar engine. Four fighting chairs means there’s plenty of room for lots of action! We’ll use GPS & Fishfinder to track the schools of fish and the First Mate will work to get your lines ready. Downriggers and outriggers steady the boat for optimal fishing conditions – we really do have everything you need for a successful day of reeling in some Key West trophy fish! Families are welcome aboard; we are child-friendly and look forward to teaching as many people as we can about offshore fishing. We teach & instruct anglers in kite fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, bow fishing, jigging, spinning, and more. Whether you’re practically a professional, or brand new to the sport, Captain Gil and Crew will work to make sure you have a fun and productive day aboard the Reef Runner. Private trips available for your group of six. We offer four, six, and eight hour trips with everything included that you need. This includes your fishing license, rods, reels, tackle, and bait. We’ll also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day. Water is complimentary when you’re aboard Reef Runner; you’ll also want to bring any snacks for the day. We recommend you also pack some sunblock, wear a hat and polarized sunglasses, and of course bring your camera!
