Flats fishing is in shallow waters usually found in marshes, bays, and along the shore. The crystal clear water gives anglers the advantage as we can often see the fish swim by. The best flats for fishing are less than eight feet deep and have no overlying cover. This is a great trip to learn new techniques and are hot beds for many fish. Just like its name suggests, inshore fishing is conducted in waters no more than a few miles off the coastline. It’s possible to inshore fish from either a pier or a platform. If you’re considering heading out on a fishing expedition but haven’t been before, an inshore trip might be the perfect choice. Capt.
