Captain Ron, a USCG licensed captain, has been fishing the waters of Montauk New York for decades. During that time, he pioneered the art of small boat Giant Bluefin Tuna fishing. In addition, he has landed two Striped Bass over 60 pounds. He looks forward to bringing all this experience to make your fishing adventure pleasant, enjoyable and productive.
Captain Ron welcomes you aboard the Capt Ron - a brand new, custom built 29ft Sportfisherman with a complete walk around feature. It is powered by a 315 HP diesel engine with a true cruising speed of 25 knots. The boat is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art electronics and safety equipment. It has a fully equipped bathroom and a heated cabin with two bunks. It has over 80 square feet of cockpit space for you to enjoy your fishing trip in comfort.
Captain Ron’s Famous Fishing offers personalized fishing adventures for 1-4 anglers of all ages and skill levels. They will provide everything you need for a successful day on the water. Your fishing license, rods, reels, tackle, lures and fresh or live bait are all included. You can keep your catch and the captain will clean and fillet it for you.
At Captain Ron’s Famous Fishing you have a variety of fishing adventures to choose from. You can do an inshore trip where you will target species such as Striped Bass, Porgies, Black Sea Bass and Flounder. Or you can choose one of the offshore trips and target species such as Cod and Shark. Feel free to bring any snacks and drinks you would like to enjoy on your trip. There is no hard liquor allowed, but beer is ok. This is a family friendly fishing charter service and children of all ages are always welcome.

Our Full Day, 8 hour trip will give you more time on the water to target species such as Flounder, Black Sea Bass, Porgy and Striped Bass among others.
