On your trip with Capt. Scotty Roe Fishing Charters you and your guests will spend the day fishing aboard an 18’ Bay Boat powered by a 115HP Yamaha engine. Captain Scotty’s boat is outfitted with a fighting chair, casting platform, poling platform, and a wireless trolling motor as well as a live well for fresh bait, state-of-the-art navigational electronics, and USCG approved safety equipment. If it’s your first-time fly fishing, no need to worry, Capt. Scotty is an expert fly fisherman and he’ll take you through the process step-by-step. Capt. Scotty will take you fishing along the grass flats and mangrove islands of Port Charlotte to target a range of species. You’ll have your hands full as you put up a fight against Amberjack, Flounder, King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Ladyfish, Gar, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, and Jack Crevalle. You may also have the chance to go after Cobia, Flounder, Tripletail, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, and Sharks. After your trip, Captain Scotty will clean and fillet your catch.
