Captain Alex was born and raised in Charleston, where he grew up spending nearly every day on the water. He went on to graduate from Clemson University, and then obtain his USCG Captains license. Captain Alex is a fully licensed and insured captain who strives to make your trip as enjoyable as possible. When Captain Alex isn't running inshore fishing charters, he competes in professional redfish tournaments which take him up and down the east coast.
Captain Alex commands a 25’ Center Console with a 250HP Suzuki engine. His boat has all of the latest electronics such as a GPS, fish finder, and a multimedia system. Downriggers, outriggers, power poles, a live well for fresh bait, and snorkeling equipment are also on board. USCG approved safety gear is on board for your safety. A cooler for your desired drinks and snacks is available as well.
On your trip with Captain Alex Inshore Charters you and your guests will be supplied with top quality rods, reels, tackle, lures, and fly-fishing equipment. Fresh bait and the fishing license for you and all of your guests is also included. Captain Alex is a great teacher and he’ll do whatever it takes to ensure he gets you on the fish including teaching you one of the many different fishing techniques he’s skilled in. Bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, light tackle, spinning, and trolling just to name a few.
Captain Alex Inshore Charters offer trips from a half day to a full day fishing adventure. You and your guests will be targeting Tuna, Tarpon, Sheepshead, Redfish, Porgy, Ladyfish, Wahoo, Triggerfish, Spanish Mackerel, Sea Bass, Red Grouper, Weakfish, Tripletail, Spotted Seatrout, Sharks, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Black Seabass, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Atlantic Croaker, King Mackerel, Flounder, and Black Drum. After your bountiful day on the water, the First Mate will clean and fillet your catch for you just in time for supper.
