Captain Alan Clowers has spent his life fishing the San Diego Bays and lakes. For the past 25 years he has worked on perfecting his techniques to find and catch the big fish. Depending on the time of year, on the Offshore Sportfishing trips, you can expect to catch a variety of fish including Tuna, Dorado, Yellowtail, Marlin, Barracuda, Calico Bass, Mako Shark, Thresher Shark, Halibut, Rock Cod, and Lingcod. For the Bay Fishing trips, San Diego Bay is loaded with Spotted Bay Bass, Sand Bass, Bonefish, Halibut, Corvina, Bat Rays, Guitarfish, Leopard Sharks, Smoothhound Sharks, and many more hard fighting and tasty saltwater fish!
Captain Alan looks forward to welcoming you aboard the 20' skiff that can carry up to 4 guests comfortably. This vessel is equipped with the latest navigational electronics including side scan techonology, sonar, GPS and Furuno radar system. Life jackets, a throw ring and EPIRB are on board for safety.
Captain Clowers Charters offers several different trip lengths to accommodate your busy schedule. We offer Half, ¾ and Full Day offshore trips as well as Half and Full Day Bay trips. You will get to keep your catch and Captain Alan and his crew will clean and fillet your catch for you and bag it for your trip home.

While on your 5 hour, morning Bay trip, you will be catching species such as Spotted Bay Bass, Bonefish, Leopard Sharks, Smooth-hound Sharks, and many more. You will get to keep your catch and Captain Alan and the crew will clean and fillet it for you and bag it for your trip home.
