Your South Carolina fishing adventure will take place along the beautiful brackish waters of the Cooper River. This fisherman’s paradise provides some of the best Redfish fishing opportunities in all of South Carolina, especially December through February.
All the action begins once you enter Captain Jimmie’s gorgeous 18ft Ranger bass boat. This vessel makes Charleston fishing charters a dream come true! Her 150hp Evinrude engine powers us to all the fishing spots in a very timely manner. She comes equipped with all the proper safety equipment and features a lovely casting platform. This fishing boat is spacious enough for you and one other guest to enjoy Cooper River fishing.
There are no set start or end times on your fishing trip with us. We can start as early as you’d like and fish as late as you can. Everything needed for a productive day of fishing is provided except for bait and fishing licenses. Capt. Jimmie can pick you up and drop you back off at nearby locations for added convivence. Our launch location is determined by what’s most convenient for you.
The great species that swim the Cooper River can be caught on traditional Largemouth lures like worms and shad baits. Our favorite fish to target on our fishing trips are Redfish, also known as Spottail Bass around here. Some other species you may run into on our Charleston fishing charters include Black Drum, Trout, Sheepshead, and more!
