He's a third generation charter captain who strives to put his clients on fish and always leaving wanting more! Captain Austin will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. Your fishing adventure starts on a 26’ pilothouse that can safely take up to 5 anglers. This boat comes with 275HP Mercury engine and a toilet is on board for your convenience. Cast-A-Way Fishing Charters welcomes children and anglers of all skill level to join in on the fun on Lake Erie! The name of the game is Walleye and Captain Austin is an expert when it comes to catching them. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle for a successful day on the water are included while on your trip. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. Captain Austin will clean and fillet your fish at the end of your trip for an additional fee. Trip Details

This is the biggest action and the best chance of catching your fish limit. No experience is needed. Kids will have a blast! We limit out about 95% of the time, so this is a great trip for filling your freezer as well! We will be using our trolling technique 90% of the time. So, come on out and let's make memories! I will always do everything I can to make the fishing trip most enjoyable for any group. This trip is out of Fairport harbor which is regarded as the hottest fishing spot on Lake Erie.

Full Day Trip
Captain Austin was very flexible and accommodating with three young boys on an extremely windy trip. He was willing to work in an evening trip once our full day weather forecast didn’t look good. Windy conditions forced us to change from trolling to drifting. Captain Austin put us on fish from the first drop. We will definitely fish again with Captain Austin. Thanks for a successful fishing trip.
