Captain Heath Schley will be your guide as you search the glorious waters of Laguna Madre for the best fishing spots. Capt. Heath is a very friendly captain who has great knowledge of the local waterways of this area just north of the Mexico border. Capt. Heath is always happy to pass his knowledge along to all of his clients. He loves teaching new anglers about the different species that swim the waters and the fishing techniques he uses to catch them.
Your fishing journey with Capt. Heath will cover the waters of South Padre Island, and depending on where the fish are at, You and Capt. Heath could end up exploring the fishing grounds near, Port Isabel, Port Mansfield, Brownsville, Laguna Vista, Bayview, Arroyo City, and many other fishing hotspots along Laguna Madre on the coastal bend of Texas.
Our 22ft bay boat is the vessel you will be doing your fishing off of. This boat makes inshore fishing in Texas fun and easy. She can carry up to 4 passengers and have plenty of casting room for everyone. On board, you will find all the latest fish finding and navigational equipment. Capt. Heath takes safety very seriously, which is why you will find all the required safety features on board including life jackets, fire extinguishers, first aid, flares, and a VHF radio.
We offer full and half day trips covering the inshore and nearshore waters of South Texas. Each trip will include all the rods, reels, tackles, and lures needed for a productive day. Some fishing techniques you can expect to employ on our trips include drift fishing, spinning, and light tackle fishing.
This area of Texas is home to countless species. Black drum, Tripletail, Weakfish, Cobia, Sharks, and Tarpon are just a few of the species you can expect to see. Our trips love to explore the flats for Redfish, Trout, and Flounder.
