This is a great 4-hour trip targeting Spanish and King Mackerel, False Albacore, and Bluefish in local waters. You'll also target Flounder when in season. All rods, reels, and bait are included in the price, as well as filleting of your catch after the trip. You are welcome to bring along snacks and drinks – just no glass bottles. Don't forget sunscreen, a sun hat, and light layers of clothing. No fishing license required. Remaining balance must be paid in cash only, +20% or more tip for mate.

Full Day Trip
I cannot say enough good things about our trip with Coastal Carolina Charters. First Mate Charles worked his butt off the whole day baiting our hooks and retrieving our fish. He was moving the whole time!We caught 7 King Mackerel and about 20 Albacore Tuna. We took this trip for my nephew’s 18th birthday and he said it was the best experience of his life (even though he was nauseous the whole time)! He had a ton of questions about fishing and Charles was so nice answering all of them. I would highly recommend this father/son team. They worked great together!

Half Day Trip (AM)
Capt. Scotty and Mate Charles were AWESOME. First, they were flexible with the trip start time so that we didn’t have to drag two teenagers put of bed at 4:30 AM. Our party was my husband, a fairly experienced angler, then me, our daughter and her boyfriend - all novices. Then the morning of the trip, Capt. Scotty texted that the weather looked questionable and asked if we wanted to go ahead. Since we weren’t in the area much longer, we pressed on.
We arrived at the boat, hopped on and away we went! Charles was all over the place, getting fish into the cooler as fast as we could reel them in, then lines back in the water.
Ultimately we had to turn back due to weather (they prorated us for the trip), but in 2 hours we had already landed about a dozen bluefish and a Spanish mackerel. Charles even gave us a recipe for fish tacos for the bluefish that the kids loved!
We 100% will be back! Great experience!

Our trip was nothing short of FANTASTIC! Charles and Captain Scotty didn’t take us Fishing, they took us “CATCHING”!!! At least 7 King Mackerel over 30”+, a possible State Record Atlantic Bonati, 10 lbs. 8 oz., (Florida is 6 lbs. 8 oz., South Carolina is 7 lbs. 11 oz.) and several other species! Not Fishing, Catching! Wayne was the best, and hardest working mate we’ve ever seen, including Wanchese, Miami, Cabo, Gulf of California, etc. If we ever get back to Morehead City/Atlantic Beach we know who we will charter! Again, just a FANTASTIC experience aboard Coastal Carolina Charters!!!
