Captain Gary Zakrajsek will be your guide as you sail off on your Lakeside Marblehead fishing trip. Capt. Gary has over 30 years of experience fishing Northern Ohio for Walleye and Perch. Being a retired firefighter, Capt. Gary has now dedicated himself to running fishing charters in Ohio full time. He loves the opportunity he has to take clients out on the water to do what he loves best, fish! To him, there is nothing better than watching the smile on all of his clients faces when they catch a Walleye.
Lakeside Marblehead will be the start of your fishing journey with Capt. Gary. You can also expect to cover the fishing grounds near Sandusky, Bay view, Huron, Catawba Island, Kellys Island, Pelee Island, Ruggles Beach, and Vermillion if the fish are biting in those areas.
Capt. Gary’s 30ft Baha Fisherman is a wonderful fit for fishing in Lake Erie. With 2 205hp Volvo engines, this vessel can reach speeds up to 32 knots. She has enough room for you and 5 other guests to enjoy fishing. You can rest assure all the required safety and navigational equipment are on board along with the latest fish finding equipment. There is a toilet and bed on deck for added convenience and a first mate will help you out the entire time.
We offer full and half day trips covering the waters of Lake Erie near Northern Ohio. All of our trips include the use of our high-quality fishing gear along with all the needed lures and bait. A cooler full of ice will be provided to keep your drinks and snacks cold.
We will be targeting the famous Walleye and Yellow Perch of Lake Erie using mainly drift casting or trolling. Capt. Gary can also teach you about some other fishing techniques he uses such as jigging and bottom fishing
