For much of the year, Captain George is a science teacher, but he spends his summers fly fishing, hiking, rafting and picking blueberries with his family. Captain George will show you some beautiful country and take you to places that he loves to fish himself. Your trip will take place on 14’ drift boat. This vessel has a GPS, a casting platform, and USCG approved safety gear. Denali Angler welcomes up to 3 anglers including beginners and experts alike as he prides himself on tailoring his fly fishing trips to your specific needs. You will be supplied with fly fishing equipment on your trip with Denali Angler. If you’re new to fly fishing no worries. We'll be fly fishing the clearwater streams south of Denali National Park. Meet us at our cabin in Cantwell to get outfitted with whatever equipment you'll need before we head out for a full day of fly fishing in the midst of the Alaska Range. We are happy to customize your trip in anyway that suites you. Reach out to us and we will help you plan a fantastic day of grayling fishing in Alaska. We are very happy to work with families and beginner fly anglers. We usually fish two different streams on a full day trip. You might also choose to spend some time hiking back into a more remote area. We have lots of options.
