Discovery Blue Ventures invites you for an epic fishing adventure in Marathon, Florida! Your trip takes place on a 38' Sort Fisherman powered by twin 480HP Volovo engines. She can safely take up to 6 anglers and comes outfitted with navigational and fish finding technology, a live well for fresh bait, and all of the protective gear for a safe day on the water. There is an air conditioned salon, a fully equipped kitchen , and a full bathroom for your convenience. Children and anglers of all skill level are welcomed. Discovery Blue Ventures offers trips ranging from 4 hours to 10 hours. all trips include rods, reels, and terminal tackle. Fresh bait and the fishing license for everyone in your party is also included in your trip. Depending on the trip, you'll go after Sailfish, Tuna, Snapper, Swordfish, Pompano, Amberjack, Permit, Cobia, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, and Tarpon. I have hired many charters for company events, family get togethers, and outings, and Discovery Blue Ventures far exceeds them all. First and foremost, Mick and his crew put you on fish. Whether you're fishing for Mahi, Tuna, African Pompano, Swordfish, Grouper, Snapper, spearfishing, or even lobstering, they tee you up for success. They know the fisheries, are well connected, and even on slow days where other boats aren't catching, they always seem to get the job done. More importantly, they're fun to be around, personable, great with kids or any audience, and the love and passion for what they do shows in every aspect of their charter. Many times they've even joined us for dinner, taking us by boat to a great cook your catch spot on the water. Discovery is an impeccable boat, and the pride in their business shows in the way they care for their boats. Best Charter Ever!
Mick and his crew do an amazing job and are very professional and fun! We have done several trips with him. He put us on a ton of fish - tuna, mahi, grouper, snapper and AJ's. We even got a sword that I now have mounted in my house. He was willing to totally customize the trip,- offshore, inshore, reefs. Discovery Blue Ventures does it all. He will also take you to just snorkel with your family. Discovery Blue Ventures always delivers!!

Unforgettable Experience
Discovery Blue Ventures provided the total package when it came to a charter. Captain Mick and his crew did a tremendous job right from the beginning with making our group feel comfortable. Almost as if we were just going out on the water with friends. Although safety is paramount, they went above and beyond to make sure our trip was exceptional and more than we could have ever anticipated. They knew when to jump in (bait your hook or help you cast when inexperienced) and when to step back and let you work the line. They are excellent instructors and really know how to teach you to learn the best techniques in such a short amount of time. You can tell this isn’t their job but this is their passion! While on our charter, we caught an array of keepers and brought home so much fish to share! They even filleted each fish and shared some great restaurants in the area that would cook our fresh catch. We had an amazing time with Captain Mick and his crew. They would be perfect for any group, including families. We will definitely be chartering with them again! Thank you!
