Get ready for a full day on the bountiful waters of Lake Erie! You'll be fishing for Trout, Walleye, and Perch throughout the year. All fishing equipment will be provided, please bring a valid fishing license.

7 Hour Trip
I had booked a 7 hour trip with Captain Matt and everything went smooth. I met him at the boat launch at 5:00 AM and shortly after that we were headed out to catch some walleye. After about a 20 minute boat ride, we started to get the lines in the water. It wasn’t long before we had the first fish in the boat. Two hours later we were limited out. Captain Matt kept me entertained the whole time with stories about his previous life as a restaurateur, his trips to Alaska to fish for salmon and halibut, and his experience as a hunting guide in South Dakota. Even without the success fishing it would’ve been an enjoyable day. I was lucky enought to pick a perfect weather day, too. It was a great day, and I’ll probably look up Captain Matt when I come back here next year.

7 Hour Trip
My husband and I had the best day ever fishing with Captain Matt. Matt was a great host, a veteran fisherman of Lake Erie, and knew just where to go. Matt had everything we needed for a great day of fishing. We caught our limit of walleye for the day a little early, and then did some sightseeing around the Bay. Matt cleaned our fish for us and provided wonderful service as our fishing guide. This fishing trip was amazing! I actually got a blister on my hand from reeling in all of our fish! I highly recommend Dog’s Life Sport Fishing. Thank you, Captain Matt! We hope to fish with you again soon!

Captain Matt and mate Gary couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. We had to get off of the water early so we were able to start early. We caught our first fish before the sun came up and kept catching all morning. I’ve been on several charters over the years and this one was one of the best. Thanks to Matt and Gary from our entire group for a great trip! We will certainly be back!
