Safety is Captain Mario’s number one priority while you’re out on the water. The Loretta is equipped with twice the safety equipment that is required by law, and the entire crew is CPR and First Aid certified. The vessel receives annual inspections by the Coast Guard, and also regular maintenance from the Dream On Sportfishing team.

On our half day trips we’ll fish Playa del Coco’s inshore reefs and ledges targeting Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Red Snapper, Triggerfish, and more. Get ready for a fight when you hook up on Costa Rica’s most notorious inshore fish, you’ll soon find out the unmatched strength of a Roosterfish! On our full day trips were able to head offshore to target a range of pelagic species. We’ll troll for a range of billfish species including Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, and Sailfish.
