Born and raised on Hatteras Island, Captain Shaun Dunn has been living and working on the water all his life. In his teens, he helped his dad on the family's commercial boat, and continued to work as a mate and captain on different vessels over the years.
The Dunn Deal is a custom-built, 42' Ocean Yacht with twin-diesel Cummins engines. It's rigged with top-of-the-line electronics and safety equipment. The boat covers all bait and tackle and is licensed to carry up to 6 passengers. Most recent improvements and upgrades includes full interior cabin renovation, restroom remodel, cabin A/C and Heat, TV and DVD player, microwave, and a Keurig Coffee Machine.
Full day trips average 10-12 hours with a 20-40 mile run to the Gulf Stream. Typical offshore fish include Mahi Mahi (Dolphin), Blackfin and Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Barracuda, Marlin, and Sailfish. In addition to trolling bites, we offer bottom-fishing on the local wrecks and secret spots for a variety of fish such as Grouper, Tilefish, Triggerfish, Snapper, and more!

This is a Gulfstream offshore trip in the fish-rich waters of Hatteras targeting Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, and anything else that might want to bite the lines. No spray sunscreen is allowed on board. This trip will be 10-12 hours long or shorter if you would like to return to the dock earlier. The captain hopes to see you on the water!
