Special 6 hour trip for David Garcia
Had a great time. Capt Dave and Kenny were a lot of fun and on top of things all day. Pre trip communication was excellent and we were fully informed of what to expect for the day. Started out looking for Kings, Cobia and Barracuda but had already been warned that the bite might not be there. It was not and Capt Dave wasted no time “shifting gears” to downline for Grouper and Snapper. Action was fast and furious but unfortunately not for “keeper” fish. Did manage to catch a couple among our group of 4 and switched up again try for Tarpon and sharks on the way back in. There was some action around us with Tarpon and we did manage to catch one Bonnet Head.
All in all it was a really good day. Would have liked to catch a few more keepers but knew a slow bite for those was a strong possibly before we ever started.
I highly recommend Even Better to anyone looking for a great day on the water with realistic expectations of the realities of fishing.

Half Day Trip - Inshore/Jetty PM
What a great day! Captain Dave friendly and welcoming. He really knows what he is doing. First he moved us around to a few locations to find a big catch. We got a 5 foot shark! Then he moved us to the jetty. We caught plenty of keepers (black drum and whiting). Also dozens of small sea bass that we had to throw back but provided lots of action.

3/4 Day Trip - Offshore PM
We had a great day out with Captain David and Kenny. My 4 kids (17-25) were a bunch of first timers and David was awesome in putting us on fish in several different spots. They were helpful and informative and we had great day. Would absolutely join Capt David and crew on another trip.
