2.5 Hour Trip
We were looking to try something we had never done before and boy was it amazing!!!! The Captain (Adrian Johnson) was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and loves what he does and it shows! He has a wealth of information about Charleston and the water! He had an idea of what fish we were pulling up out of the water before we could see it!!! That is impressive! The man knows his craft. The boat trip was the highlight of our vacation and we can NOT wait to come back in November and do it again with him…. The next trip will be longer for sure so we can learn more and just get away from it all. He is a true professional and a master angler and you can not go wrong booking a trip with him! Time and money well spent! Thank you Captain for the memories and the photos you were so kind to take for us and for sharing your passion! See ya in the fall!

Half Day Trip
Great (first time) deep sea fishing trip with Cap. Adrain.
Before the trip:
- Great communications. The captain answered our texts quickly, also advised us to prepare motion sickness med., just in case (and we did need it!).
During the trip:
- Boat ride took around 1hr long (for deep sea fishing spot)
- We see a group of dolphins on the way (Cap. Adrian pointed them out for us.)
- Had to move only once or twice until we found a golden spot. I could feel something biting as soon as I dropped the bait.
- We got red mullets, white grunts, and black sea bass.
After the trip:
- We wanted to take the fresh fish to eat; Cap. Adrain found us a restaurant that would cook the fish for us. Very fresh and delicious (the chef cooked us fish & chip).
Overall, great experience!

Half Day Trip
Captain Johnson was awesome. I had family visiting for my daughter’s graduation and wanted to show them Charleston fishing. I let Adrian know and he delivered the goods. He took us to multiple spots and put us on fish every time. If the bites slowed down we moved to another hot spot. We were never rushed or made to feel like our time was running out. He was way more concerned about our experience than his time. By far my best charter experience and I will only use Adrian from now on. We caught lots of fish and would have been even more but he put us on some monsters that broke loose. I can’t say enough good things about this captain and can’t wait to go again.
