Captain Nate has been local to Port Canaveral for about 20 years. He grew up fishing offshore every chance he could on his Grandfather’s boat and local charter boats with his mother. Being around the Port so much landed him his first job as a First Mate at the age of 16. As soon as the coast guard would allow it he went and got his captain’s license at age 18 and has been at it ever since. Holding a 100-ton Master’s License today he has ran everything from small private port tours to the 90’ head boats offshore on fishing excursions. His primary focus today is in the private charters, fishing offshore for various sport fish and sharks. The private trips allows him to interact one on one with the customers, while teaching them his techniques and knowledge to help them land these hard fighting Ocean fish. Captain Nate is one of the most recognized and respected Captains in the Port and his communication with his network of Captains and mates ensures his clients the best chance to get “on the bite.”

  • Weather cancellations are at your Captain’s discretion, your safety is their number one priority! You will receive a refund for any weather cancellation, or you can choose to reschedule your trip for a different date.

These trips are geared towards best action bite, typically catch and release most of the time. Range from fishing inside the port basin up to 10 miles offshore depending on where the action is. Sharks are majority of what we catch on these trips but may see other species such as snook, redfish, stingrays, tarpon, Goliath grouper, bluefish, mackeral, whiting, croakers, and more. These are great trips for kids as well staying close to shore and the price makes these our most popular trips.

Half Day Trip (AM)- Shark Fishing
We could not have had a better experience! We took our 3 kiddos (ages 7, 5, &1) and had the time of our lives! The Captain had everything we could need and was so helpful with all of the rods and getting all of the sharks in the boat safely so we could touch, hold, and take pictures! We caught 18 sharks (which is not a guarantee), and did not sit idly for more than 5 minutes. In the between time, we caught loads of bait fish, which the kids absolutely loved as the sharks are heavy to pull in and they need an adult, whereas the bait fish are easy. And as soon as the bait fish went back out we had 1-2 sharks on our lines! We caught 10-blacknose, 7-hammerheads, and a spinner shark! Seriously- if you’re on the fence, DO THIS! We want to come back every time we vacay here!

Absolutely a perfect charter for first timers! We had our children who were new to the boating experience. There were six of us, and still felt the orchestration of the trip was wonderful. Everyone had their turn to fish, and we were able to see sharks! Within the first few minutes we caught our first shark!! All around a fun experience for our son, who loved seeing the fish and sharks. Would absolutely recommend this charter. We looked around to see which were the best for accommodations and happy with our choice!!

Man, what an experience, still trying to soak it in as I write this! Nate was super cool guy and very easy to get along with. Not only that, he is super passionate about what he does and loves seeing people Hook up! Morning started with a slow bite, just how any fishing trip can be, but Nate wasn’t gonna give up! Constantly switching bates for fresh ones, trying his tricks of the trades for us to Hook up. Then it happened, A Fine tooth shark took our bait and I had an insane fight with the shark! I’m still blown away by it and trying to grasp the reality. Now it was my brother turn to grab the next fish. We were fighting the pelicans and other birds all day. Stealing our bate, flying into the lines. Nate managed it very quickly and got them back out there! It was time to go back to shore but This shows Nate’s heart. He wanted to stay out just a little longer since we were fight the pelicans. And sure enough as we are about to getting ready to real in, Fish On! Kyle, my brother, got himself one heck of a Red Fish! What an amazing experience guys, I can’t recommend any more. Even in the terrible conditions we had, Nate pulled the strings to get us a fish. Cheers Nate, I’ll keep your number for the future for sure!
