Lake Champlain is known as a great fishing location with beautiful scenery. This is a freshwater lake in North Vermont that flows north and sneaks into Canada. The fishery here is abundant and your group will be able to target a variety of species, including Perch, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Steelhead, Pike, Musky, Walleye, Salmon, and Bass. Fish N Rigg specializes in hooking our customers up with Trout and Salmon. When fishing with Fish N Rigg Charters, you’ll get hooked up on HUGE Salmon in no time! Salmon are the largest and most sought after fish of Lake Champlain. Fishing starts in the Spring when the weather warms up, but the best time is during the summer. We use small spoons, fly’s on long lines and downriggers when fishing for Salmon. Trout is another popular species to fish for on Lake Champlain. The best time for your private fishing charter is anytime from April to early September. We’ll use spoons and plugs with light rods to land your next Trout. Most of the biggest Trout are caught in deep waters using downriggers. Trout fishing is a great family activity. Fish N Rigg Charters offers trips all year depending on the weather. Book your private Lake Champlain fishing guide today with Captain Greg and Fish N Rigg Charters. We’ll have the rods bent and the smiles huge in no time at all! See you on the water.
