Malik Wilder is a lifelong, expertly skilled fisherman with over 25 years of experience. Wilder's skill as an angler is only surpassed by his passion for engaging youth participation in fishing and the outdoors. Wilder has a unique approach to youth engagement, using HipHop culture as a bridge between something kids already know and love. Breaking the mold, Wilder's bold approach to community outreach has proven effective through his work as a volunteer who teaches life skills and sustainability for Georgia's Division of Natural Resources, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife. FishingForHipHop Guide Service brings decades of local knowledge to every trip. If you have a particular body of water you’d like to fish, let your Captain know! Choose from West Point Lake, Lake Allatoona, Lake Lanier, and other nearby lakes and rivers. If fishing is on your To Do List in the morning, this 1/2 Day (AM) Crappie/StripedBass fishing package is perfect. This fishing trip is designed to create the experience you deserve. We can provide our guide services at one of the three lakes listed below.

Chose a location and we will send boat ramp address after deposit. Lake Locations: 1. West Point Lake 2. Lake Allatoona 3. Lake Lanier

Target Species: Crappie, Hybrid StripedBass, Spotted Bass or White Bass

We will provide boat ramp location (address) with your deposit. We will provide assistance and informational instructions on how to catch the fish on the lake of your choice. All fishing gear is included so just please be sure to purchase your fishing license. We have a cooler, dry storage area, music and rod holders for your convenience. You are more than welcome to bring your own gear, lures and bait. We fish rain or shine so please dress for the weather.

Half Day – Crappie/StripedBass (AM)
I highly recommend “FishingForHipHop” Guide Service. Three of us went on a 1/2 Day (AM) Crappie/Striped Bass trip with Captain Malik Wilder, and from the beginning it was great. The boat is outfitted with everything needed for a great crappie fishing experience. This captain knows the spots to fish and works very hard to make sure everyone has a great time. Captain Malik provided very clear and direct instructions all day long on our trip. It was nice to have a crappie freshwater guide who is so patient and genuinely interested in teaching and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Captain Malik, not only is he a very good guide/instructor, but he speaks well with people at their different skill levels. The three of us have been fishing on that lake before and have not caught so many large slabs of crappie, we are very satisfied with our catch. I had to cancel a previous scheduled trip with Capt. Malik thru “Fishing Booker” web-site, I cancelled my trip over 3 week-ago but did not receive my deposit. Capt. Malik took that in consideration and reduce our fishing trip price by that amount. Capt. Malik you are a marvelous guide, fishing mentor and now friend. I can also assure you that I will recommend you to others. Thank you so much for a wonderful day.
