Brandon is known for his fishing expertise and his friendliness. Capt. Brandon has been fishing for decades and has mastered multiple fishing techniques needed to fish the inshore and offshore waters successfully. Capt. Brandon can teach anyone of any age or experience level to fish, he’s a patient and knowledgeable instructor! He is also a natural when it comes to dealing with the little ones. You will head out on a well maintained 38ft Sportfisher that was originally built in 2007. She’s powered by twin caterpillar c-9 engines that will get you to the fishing grounds in no time! Less time traveling means more time fishing, Capt. Brandon will get you out into the hot spots as quickly as possible to maximize your time with a rod in-hand. The vessel comes with all of the top-quality fishing amenities that you will need. For comfort, you’ll be happy to hear that Frisky Reds Fishing Charters has a private toilet on board. Capt. Brandon provides you with all of the equipment needed to make the trip as relaxing, and productive as possible. You will be provided with Lures, Fishing rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, and fresh or live bait (at Captain Brandon’s discretion). There is also a GPS, a Fishfinder, and a radar that all comes included in order to easily track down fish. Frisky Red Charters offers multiple fishing techniques, try them all out if you want! You will have the choice to pick from bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, drift fishing, and trolling. Depending on the length of the trip that you decide to book, you’ll have the option to fish the nearshore jetties, offshore reefs and wrecks, or the “platforms” that are found over 35 miles off the coast of Galveston! Some of the fish you can expect to find include Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Sharks, Grouper, Yellow Fish Tuna, Redfish, Black Drum, Barracuda, and even Blue Marlin! With safety and comfort for everyone on board in mind, Frisky Reds Fishing Charters does ask that the youngest angler on board be at least 6 years old. 10 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing
Horrible experience……..after a short boat ride, they put us on fish…..me and the wife never had a chance to breathe……I fought fish for the first half hour straight until I “LITERALLY PASSED OUT”!!!!!!! Brandon and Chris’s were about to to call the Coast Guard and were reeling in all the lines when I came to. The pic of the me and the red snapper was 24 minutes after I passed out. (Thank you Chris for your calmness, Marlene was freaking out on the inside!!!!). I am joking about the “horrible experience “ but I will make no joke about how professional and kind these two dudes are!!!!!! We caught well over 30 red snapper almost to the point it was “work!” Heheheh The catch we kept was the perfect amount for us to fly back on the plane with!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!!

Half Day Trip (PM)
What a fantastic afternoon! I really had no idea what to expect but Brandon quickly put us on fish and the fun began. We caught redfish, a stingray, and plenty of catfish. We almost caught a shark as well after an 8 minute battle. The captain was very informative and professional and the boat was extremely comfortable. Our oldest daughter enjoyed the air conditioned cabin and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us to sit. We can’t wait for our next trip out! I would highly recommend Frisky Reds.

12 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing
We had already headed out and were near the target fishing zone when the seas got pretty rough. It was tough to get the boat to stay on target, but even with that in mind the Captain and crew of Frisky Reds put us on some fish. We ended up catching a lot of Red Snapper (which had to go back into the sea), a couple of big King Mackerel, a Mingo Spapper, a little Dorado, a Black Fin shark that almost won the fight. I can tell that the trip would have been a complete wash if it weren’t for the skill of the Frisky Reds team. When we got back, they filleted the fish and gave us a recipe for Mackerel fish balls. We cooked some up that night and nick named the tasty dish Popplers. (Edited my review to five stars. I realized it’s not going to help anyone pick the right boat to go out on if I make my number of stars reflect the weather conditions and not the work and skill of Frisky Reds. They did amazing in the face of difficult circumstances.)
