Captain James has spent his life on the water. He has always loved catching big fish, which lead to the creation of Goliath Fishing. But don’t let the name fool you, they catch all species that the waters of Southwest Florida have to offer.
Your Goliath Fishing adventure will take place aboard Captain James’ 23ft center console boat. This vessel comes fully equipped with everything necessary for up to four anglers to fish in comfort including a fighting chair, livewell, outriggers, navigation and safety gear.
Goliath Fishing charters target inshore saltwater sport fish like Snook, Redfish and Tarpon on light tackle with live bait. They also target species such as Permit, Snapper, Tripletail and Sharks. You can spend the day fishing for these exciting species, or you can target the giants. The powerful Goliath Grouper is one of the most sought-after game fish from Tampa to the Florida Keys. They can grow to be up to 8ft long and weigh over 1,000 pounds. At Goliath Fishing they get anglers traveling from all over the world to take on the mighty Goliaths.
Captain James will provide everything your need for a successful fishing charter. Your fishing license, rods, reels, tackle, lures and fresh or live bait are all included. The crew will even clean and fillet your catch for you to take home. Please note that Goliath Grouper and Tarpon are always catch and release. This is a family friendly charter and anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome aboard.
