Charter boat Grandpa’s Charters is a 40ft Pilothouse that receives regular maintenance. She’s licensed to carry up to 6 passengers at once, and her roomy cockpit will allow multiple anglers the chance to fish at once. Onboard you’ll find a variety of fishing gear to help make the most of your day on the water. These include a fighting chair, downriggers, outriggers, a livewell, and state of the art electronics. For comfort features, there’s a picnic table on deck and a canopy cover that provides plenty of shade over the cockpit. Grandpa’s Charters is handicapped accessible to ensure that everyone in your party is able to enjoy the bountiful waters that Wanchese has become so famous for.
Captain Russell Firth will be at the helm during your trip aboard Grandpa’s Charters. He brings decades worth of experience to the table with a variety of fishing techniques. All ages and experience levels are more than welcome, Capt. Russell is a knowledgeable teacher and will make sure everyone on board is having a great trip. Captain Russell and his crew hold CPR certifications and carry a variety of USCG required safety equipment, safety is the number one priority!
