Start trolling the ledge for Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna with Captain Matt. The wind comes up mid day which stirs the water which makes the fish come up to feed. Waves and wind and spray from the fish tails may get you a little wet so bring a light jacket or sun shirt to keep you warm. Custom made lures will bring the fish up from the deep as they crush the lures and make the reels scream.

Leave the harbor a few hours before sunset cruise out to the pelagic fishing zone trolling for mahi and Ono . The evening bite usually is hot for small tuna,mahi,and Ono . Meet the captain early to head out and catch live bait using custom-made jigs to jig the bottom species up from the ocean floor. If the weather changes and the wind picks up, we'll travel out deeper to the pelagic fish zones and drop the bait you caught. We'll be targeting Mahi Mahi, Ono, and Snapper. During this tour, you'll have the opportunity to catch a variety of Hawaiian bottom fish, including snappers, Hawaiian groupers, trevally, barracuda, amberjack, and many other types of Hawaiian bottom fish. Additionally, we'll troll for tuna, mahi-mahi, and other pelagic species between bottom fishing areas. This tour is perfect for anyone who loves fishing!

Jigging bait with sabiki rigs at night is the most effective way to catch local bottom fish. We run the bait deep to hook up Giant Trevally as well as lots of snapper and the occasional pelagic predator. The night brings all the predators and this charter will give you a first hand experience of all the action that you can only see by getting out on the water at night. 2-4 hour private charter that will put fish in your cooler for lunch and dinner for a day or two.
