Holmes Beach is located on Anna Maria Island, just West of Bradenton, Florida. The area has plenty of intercoastal waters, canals, and waterways – we’re sure to find you the fish! Fish in the area include Cobia, Grouper, Redfish, Snook, Mackerel, Hogfish, Permit, Tarpon, and more. When packing for your Holmes Beach fishing trip, be sure to pack some water and snacks. You’ll also want to make sure to wear a hat and comfortable fishing clothes (something you don’t mind getting dirty, and UV protection is best). Sunglasses (polarized if you can) and sunblock is also a must. Feel free to ask Captain Colby for what to bring on your trip. We also recommend a Ziplock back to keep your personal items dry.
