Captain Cooper Hedgecock and Indigenous Adventures are located in Coos Bay, Oregon. Captain Cooper started his fishing career at the age of twelve as a deckhand. He got his Captain’s license at the age of eighteen and has never looked back! He welcomes children and anglers of all skill level. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of Oregon’s beautiful rivers and all they have to offer with all of his clients. Captain Cooper Hedgecock is at the helm of a 24’ Sport Fisherman powered by a 200HP Yamaha engine. His boat is outfitted with a GPS and fish finder. He also has a cooler and all USCG approved safety gear aboard his vessel. Indigenous Adventures offers a Salmon fishing trip and a Steelhead fishing trip for up to five guests. When you book your trip, all rods, reels, terminal tackle, fresh bait, lures, and fly-fishing equipment is supplied. Captain Cooper will also clean and fillet your catch too! You’ll be fishing on the Coos, Coquill, Umpqua, Elk, and Sixes River systems. This ensures you’ll have the fish biting. Indigenous Adventures also offers a crabbing trip as well. On your trip with Indigenous Adventures, bring your fishing license with you. Your line will be tight with Coho Salmon, King Salmon, and Steelhead. With the many different fishing techniques that Captain Cooper is experienced in, you can be sure you won’t leave empty handed.
