No prior fishing experience is needed to have a successful, memorable trip! Your Captain and First Mate will work tirelessly to rig the lines with the proper bait to entice an assortment of gamefish to your line. They’ll offer words of encouragement and advice while you’re fighting to reel in every fish that strikes your bait. The Island Dog Water Sports fleet is comprised of the top Captains in Ocho Rios, each with current USCG Captain’s licenses. Their years of local knowledge will have everyone in your group landing fish after fish!
Powered by duel 375hp engines, the Bigg Deal is a comfortable, spacious fishing machine. She can safely carry up to 10 anglers on board at once, not including the Captain and crew. If you want to sneak inside to escape the elements, you’ll be happy to hear the cabin is fully air conditioned! Inside you’ll also find plenty of seating and a toilet. For fishing equipment, the Bigg Deal is outfitted with Outriggers, Downriggers, Fighting Chair, and Live Baitwell. The Island Dog Water Sports team will provide you with top of the line Shimano and Penn International fishing tackle, as well as a fishing license and live bait. All you need to bring is sun protective gear, a camera, and a good attitude!
To make the most of your Ocho Rios fishing charter, we recommend booking the three quarter or full day trips. The Bigg Deal team will be able to venture further off the coast into the untapped waters of the Caribbean, areas that experience the least amount of fishing pressure.
