At J and K Charters aka "Jersey Key" we like to fish hard, but keep it fun for all ages. We do it all from offshore, reef, wreck, gulf, tarpon, shark, and deep drop trips.We always do our best to fill our live wells loaded with the best baits to make sure you have the greatest chance at the trophy catch .

On our boat we like to see our customers learn how to cast, reel, and fight your own fish. You can be as hands on as you like or you can just sit back relax and wait to reel in the fish. It your day! J and K originally started fishing half the year in New Jersey and half the year in the Florida Keys. We now only fish full time out of Marathon Florida.

The Jersey Key's fishing boat is a beautiful 28' WhiteWater center console with new twin Yamaha 200 HP motors. Rigged for serious fishing, the vessel is laid out with outriggers, 3 live wells, 5 electric reel outlets, 30 rod holders, and plenty of fish boxes! We're also equipped with GPS and radar/sonar for the best catching opportunities. Of course your group's safety is a top priority, which is why we always have all USCG inspected safety gear including life jackets, First Aid, EPIRB, and satellite phone if needed.

J and K Charters provides the best saltwater experience in the Florida Keys. Everything from Tarpon to Sharks that swim these waters, we can teach and guide as needed. Available for both leisure and tournament sport fishing, our advanced equipment will get you to the fish - and your experience will have you bragging to all your friends!

At the helm of Jersey Key is Captain Mike Sisto - a full time guide who loves his job! Your group will fish with a professional Captain who has fished various tournaments and placed in many of them. Captain Mike will help your group have a successful Marathon fishing trip! Just bring your food and drinks in a small cooler, we'll take care of the rest!

Hit the numerous reefs lying beneath the water just off the Florida Keys – some even make up the Keys, themselves. Exciting and delicious species of fish love to gather around the reefs, and you'll go after Snappers and Cobia during this fun-filled, rewarding trip.

Drifting wrecks in 150'-300' of water. You can expect to hook into many hard fighting fish! Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Mackerel, African Pompano, and Cobia are always a possibility!

Trip Details

Longer trips give you the best chance of getting as many fish as possible on board. Expect to be treated in style aboard the Contender saltwater fishing boat as you try various techniques in different hot spots. From Cobia to Sharks, Snappers to Sailfish, these waters have it all, and you'll make the most of them with this 8-hour trip.

3/4 Day Trip – Reef Fishing
Absolutely fantastic guide and fun trip! My son, who rarely leaves his computer, caught tons of fish and had an amazing time. He was grinning from ear to ear. The guide, captain Quinn, knew right where to go to put us on the fish, and was patient and very very helpful with the gear and bait. He took the time to help the kids learn to do the techniques he showed them, and was very friendly and encouraging. Would definitely recommend for a family adventure, just remember to bring your Dramamine if prone to seasickness, it can get choppy if there’s wind.

3/4 Day Trip – Offshore
We looked forward to a good day of fishing, but the weather wasn’t very cooperative. Conner took us out anyway and put us right on some reef fishing we tried to head out to the wreck, but the seas were just too rough. That didn’t phase him. We went right where the fish were and the water wasn’t as bad. When things looked like they were calming down we rode back out to see if we could fish the wreck, it just wasn’t fishable. Conner took us one .ore place and kept us busy catching. We never spent much time moving, he had us fishing the majority of the time. Highly recommend a trip with Conner

Half Day Trip – Reef Fishing
Captain Quinn was awesome. We had two kids, seven and nine, who have never been out before. We wanted to keep it easy but exciting. He took us to some great spots where we could catch lots of fish and see a lot of action. He did a great job keeping everyone’s hook baited so we could keep our lines in the water. It was a memorable trip that I highly recommend.
