3/4 Day Trip (AM)
Our original charter we had booked canceled on us at the last minute. Turned out to be a good thing. Steve and Brad were outstanding. They worked their butts off for us. When the fishing slowed they changed lures often. And it paid off, we ended up with almost twice as many fish as most of the other charter boats we saw when we came in. We had a newbee with us and they were very patient and helpful with her and her first salmon was a 28 pound king followed by a big steelhead. She is hooked for life now. Steve and Brad are very knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommend them and will look them up next August for sure.

After a last minute cancellation with another charter, we were so happy to find The Knotty Girl. As group of first timers celebrating a birthday, we did not know what to expect. Steve and Brad were excellent hosts sharing all kinds of information on fishing, the area and stories of tournaments they competed in. The boat was clean and well maintained. When there was a fish on they quickly sprang into action and expertly instructed us on how to reel it in. The ride was beautiful and we would have been happy even if we didn’t catch a thing. Of course we did, because of Steve and Brad’s hard work. And the Birthday girl (mom) caught the biggest fish. It was meant to be! I would recommend The Knotty Girl to anyone looking for an adventure on the water.

This was a graduation gift to our daughter. For us 2 girls It was our first time salmon fishing. The boat was huge and made the waves so more easier to deal with which was a concern for me. Captain Steve and crew took amazing care of us. They taught us exactly what we needed to do to reel them in successfully. It started out slow but as you can see from the picture it didn’t last long. We maxed out on the limit and ended with my daughter asking when we can do it again next year. I absolutely recommend this charter. It was a trip of a lifetime.
