"Bucketmouth" is what we call largemouth bass - and there's an abundance in Lake Talquin. The early Spring months is the peak season to fish Lake Talquin, it’s spawning season where the bass feed more aggressively and are at their heaviest! Catching a lunker over 7 pounds is common during this time, and there’s always a chance at catching a bass over 10 pounds!
