Captain Justin Sattory will be leading you to the fish on your trip. Capt. Justin has been fishing for over 30 years all over of the state of Michigan and even parts of Canada. An avid Walleye tournament angler, Justin knows everything about this fish species. He is also a great teacher with the knowledge and personality necessary for an educational day on the water.

Captain Justin will put you right where the fish are biting on all the popular lakes in and around Muskegon, Michigan. Lakes we cover include Muskegon Lake, White Lake, Silver Lake, Fremont Lake, and the Grand River.

Your fishing adventure will take place on Capt. Justin’s 21ft Lund Pro V Series that was built in 2011 and features a 300hp Yamaha engine with a 9.9 auxiliary Yamaha motor. She is perfect for lake fishing and can carry up to 5 passengers. The boat has a GPS, a fish finder, and VHF radio. There is also a livewell loaded with bait to make sure nothing can resist your hooks.

We offer 4-6 hour morning and evening trips that include rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait. Some fishing techniques we use include ice fishing, jigging, spinning, trolling, and light tackle fishing. We will clean and fillet your catches after the trip, so you are able to take back and enjoy as a meal later.

Captain Justin loves to target Walleye and will be extremely pleased to see one of his passengers reeling in one of these excellent catches on his trips. You can expect to see a Northern Pike on your hook as well on trips taken with us. There will be no shortage of these treasured species on our trips and Captain Justin knows just where to go to see you having success.

Family Trip
We enjoyed our family fishing day with Justin. He was very aware of the weather forecast and gave us the option (the evening prior) to reschedule our morning fishing to the afternoon, after the thunderstorms were to pass. That worked out very well. My husband and I brought our two young children, and Justin was very accommodating, patient, and very safety conscious. He took his job very seriously, he put us on fish, and we caught fish! Our 6 year old son caught his first walleye, and our 11 year old daughter caught the biggest walleye! We thoroughly enjoyed our fishing day with Justin and his first mate Derek, and we look forward to hiring him again next year. Both took the fishing day seriously, making sure we caught fish, had fun, and were safe. Our son is very brave and thought he’d like to have a seat and dangle his feet off the edge of the boat. Justin was alert and got him seated back inside the boat immediately, which we very much appreciated. Fishing after a thunder storm can be a challenge, yet Justin still put us on fish. We caught fish, my husband and I were happy to catch walleye, weather was great in the afternoon, and the day was perfect! Enjoyed by the whole family!!

Muskegon Lake
Our excursion targeted walleye with captain Justin on a late August morning. Our timing, and abundant amounts of shad in the water made a slow day for walleye but Captain Justin made the time enjoyable for us, including my 8 year old grandson. The Captain was a very knowledgeable fisherman and we were able to be active in the fishing process by holding rods while trolling. Captain Justin was a good guy to be with for our trip. We were very satisfied and will return for a similar trip.
