Captain Mike is a Certified 100 ton Master Captain with over 15 years of experience in both freshwater fishing and saltwater fishing. As a lifelong resident of Naples, Southwest Florida fishing has always been a part of his life. He loves to share his knowledge and experience with anglers of all skill levels, and take great pride in providing the best fishing experience for all his guests.
Up to four anglers can comfortably fish aboard the 20ft Release Flats Boat. This vessel comes with all the navigation and safety gear required for you to have a safe and successful Southwest Florida fishing charter. In addition to the four-stroke outboard motor, there is also a trolling motor and power pole to assist in a productive fishing adventure.
At Local Knowledge of SWFL Charters, everything you need for an enjoyable fishing trip in provided. All fishing gear, tackle, lures and fresh or live bait are included, along with your fishing license. Captain Mike also provides a cooler with ice so feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks to enjoy during your trip.
You can choose from a variety of fishing charters including half day, ¾ day and full day trips. During your Southwest Florida fishing charter, you will be targeting inshore and backcountry species such as Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper and even Tarpon, among others. While out on your fishing adventure, Captain Mike will use an array of techniques to put you on the fish including, light tackle, bottom fishing and trolling.
