St Augustine is a diverse fishing town, and Captain Daniel Kerr has the knowledge and experience to get your rods bending. He has been fishing the waters of St Augustine for over 20 years. He welcomes children as young as 5 and anglers of all skill level.
Captain Daniel skippers an 18’ Flats Boat run by a 60HP Evinrude engine. He can accommodate up to 3 guests, fishing comfortably at the same time. However, only 1 person will be able to fish at a time if you choose fly fishing. His boat is outfitted with a casting platform, live well for fresh bait, and a poling platform. You’ll also find a GPS and a fish finder, as well as a cooler. His vessel is also outfitted with approved USCG safety gear.
When you book your trip with Marsh Dweller Fishing, you and your guests will be equipped with top-notch rods and reels. Hatch reels and G Loomis rods as well as custom-made rods made by Capt. Daniel will be used for fly fishing. Lures, terminal tackle, and fresh bait is also included. The fishing license for you and your guests is also supplied. Captain Daniel will clean and fillet your catch, ensuring you don’t leave empty handed.
Although sight fishing is Captain Daniel’s passion, he’s knowledgeable in many different fishing techniques. They include fly fishing, bottom fishing, jigging, light tackle, spinning, and trolling. Captain Daniel will accommodate you if fly fishing is what you want to do. Just let Captain Daniel know as it has to be arranged in advance.
