Captain Tony Denslow will be guiding you along on your Ohio fishing charter adventure. Capt. Tony has many years of experience running Lake Erie fishing charters. He is Coast Guard licensed and is a member of the Lake Erie Charter Boat Association and National Association of Charter Boat Operators. Capt. Tony loves taking people out on the water and seeing the smiles on his clients face when they reel in a big catch.

Your outdoor freshwater fishing adventure will set sail out of Vermillion and go onto to fish the Lake Erie waters near Ruggles Beach, Huron, Sandusky, Lorain and many other locations along Ohio’s Lake Erie coast. The area is one of the most popular fishing destinations in the Midwest.

Fishing will be done aboard Capt. Tony’s “Mega Bites”, a 30ft Baha Sportfisher that makes fishing charters in Lake Erie a dream come true. She is powered by a 350hp Mercruiser 7.4L engine. You can expect to see all of the latest fish finding and navigational equipment on deck. This fishing vessel comes with a cabin that has a bed and toilet and is the perfect way to escape the elements.

We offer four, six and 8-hour trips that include high quality fishing gear with bait and lures. Some of the fishing techniques Capt. Tony can teach you about include jigging, spinning, trolling, drift fishing, and bottom fishing.

Full Day Trip
We booked a full day trip for walleye fishing and limited out by 12:30. Capt. Tony took us out, put us on fish and showed us what to do. He was knowledgeable and professional. For me, before the trip, trying coordinate the numerous questions, desires and nuisances of five fishermen, ask questions and communicate those the answers with everyone was like herding cats. He helped me tremendously answering my many (some kinda dumb) questions. My son and 10 year old grandson were with the group and Tony’s attention to and encouragement for the little guy were “an extra mile”. I would recommend Mega Bites to friends and fellow fishermen without reservation.

We had a great time with Mega Bites Charters. We had a group of 6 with beginners on board. Tony was very patient and also very easy going in his approach. He was a good coach when he needed to be but also gave us room to relax and take some ownership of our fishing trip. The day started off slow but Tony went the extra mile to keep us on top of the fish. Eventually with Tony’s experience and expertise he was eventually able to help everyone reach their limit on Walleye. I hope we’re fortunate enough to go back out on Lake Erie with Mega Bites Charters again.
